Sisal

Time to bring out the big guns. Sisal fibre comes from the succulent Agave sisalana, and its worldwide annual production is only exceeded by that of cotton. The fibres dye easily, so there's a huge range of gorgeous colours to choose from. It's hard-wearing too, so it'll be just fine anywhere from bedrooms to offices.

Did you know? - We call the product sisal because many moons ago it used to be shipped from the port of Sisal in Yucatán, Mexico.
